How Liminal works

Liminal doesn't publish opinions. It publishes a process. Every briefing goes through the same pipeline, described here at the level of what happens, not how it is implemented.

Liminal pulls from market data feeds, company filings, wire and financial news services, and macroeconomic data releases. Sources are ranked, not treated equally. Primary filings and confirmed data outrank unverified commentary.

Incoming data and news are continuously scanned for material changes: price and volume dislocations, filing events, earnings surprises, macro releases, and narrative shifts large enough to move markets.

A claim from a single source is treated as unconfirmed until corroborated. Liminal checks whether multiple independent sources agree before a claim is presented with higher confidence.

Not every headline matters to markets. Each detected event is assessed for whether it is genuinely price-relevant, already priced in, or noise, and labeled accordingly rather than presented as automatically significant.

Events are mapped to the specific tickers, sectors, and macro exposures they actually affect, rather than surfaced as generic market commentary disconnected from tradable instruments.

Liminal runs on our own proprietary AI models to synthesize verified sources into a finished briefing, and regenerates that briefing as new information arrives rather than writing it once and leaving it static, so what you read reflects current information, not the state of the world when it was first drafted.

Automated content passes through quality checks before publication, covering source-count minimums, banned generic phrasing, and required elements like a stated contradiction and invalidation condition for every claim, so output is held to a consistent editorial bar rather than published unreviewed.

Liminal is an early-stage, actively developed product. Coverage is not exhaustive, synthesis can be wrong, and AI-assisted output should be read critically rather than taken as a final word on any asset or market.
