Liminal Macro coverage and data sources

Liminal Macro is a free, independent market-intelligence system for portfolio-aware news, global macro context, and primary-source research.

Countries and regions

Geography Named index Implemented scope
United States S&P 500 Regional historical index/exposure context
Germany DAX Regional historical index/exposure context
United Kingdom FTSE 100 Regional historical index/exposure context
France CAC 40 Regional historical index/exposure context
Japan Nikkei 225 Regional historical index/exposure context
China / Hong Kong Hang Seng Regional historical index/exposure context
Taiwan TAIEX Regional historical index/exposure context
India Sensex Regional historical index/exposure context
Israel TA-125 Regional historical index/exposure context

The active cross-country policy comparison covers the United States, euro area, United Kingdom, and Japan through BIS. Japanese CPI is read through e-Stat. Regional index support does not imply a complete local-equity universe, national inflation feed, or real-time exchange entitlement. Saudi Tadawul is excluded from the regional registry because that history source was too thin.

Research discovery also includes official central-bank and agency feeds. Original publisher rights remain separate from Liminal’s educational guide license.

Asset classes and exchange scope

The instrument registry contains indices, ETFs, equities, yields, commodities, currencies, crypto, and alternative-market proxies. Credit research also uses banking and financing data. Alpaca’s implemented feed is IEX, a single-exchange source; it is not a consolidated-tape entitlement. Index names such as DAX and Sensex establish index context, not unrestricted instruments on their underlying exchanges.

What an update means

The inspected warm client polling policy requests quotes every second, news every minute, the calendar every five minutes, and primary-source signals every thirty minutes. These are request intervals, not promises that an upstream observation or written brief changes at those speeds. Monthly and quarterly series remain monthly and quarterly. Always read the observation and publication dates.
