Liminal Macro: labeled portfolio research sample

This is a fictional teaching portfolio and a sample research workflow, not a client account, recommendation, backtest, or live market view. The numbers below are invented allocations for explaining the interface and do not represent prices or returns.

Demo portfolio

Fictional holding category Sample weight Research exposure
Industrial equipment business 50% Customer demand, financing, input costs
Subscription software business 35% Enterprise spending, labor costs, valuation assumptions
Cash 15% Currency and interest-rate context

Example: a policy announcement enters the review

  • Observed fact: a new official statement is available; the sample asserts no policy decision or market number.
  • Exposure question: which financing or customer-spending assumptions does the statement affect?
  • Contradiction: a headline alone may not change the operating outlook.
  • Invalidation: the initial interpretation must change if the source or subsequent evidence contradicts it.
  • Action: open and examine the source; no investment position is recommended.

How to read this sample

The display demonstrates the order of reasoning, not the proprietary scoring rules. Liminal Private applies holdings-related context to an authenticated account’s entered positions. This public page does not retrieve anyone’s holdings or call the full terminal data APIs.
